Patient Feedback Questionnaire

As part of our on-going practice development we often hold patient surveys to find out how we are doing. Our recent survey was carried out in Dec 2014 and the positive and negative points that came from this are as follows.

What do you like best about your dental practice?

'Feeling relaxed and very friendly.'

'Friendly competant staff from reception to dentist and hygienist.'

'Lovely staff.'

'Very friendly and helpful.'

'Friendly staff and clear explanations.'

'Professsional and relaxed atmosphere - inspires confidence.'

'The people that work there.'

'Politeness and caring.'

'Competence and caring.'

'Have confidence in ability.'

'Professional, very friendly and welcoming.'

'The genuine kindness mixed with professionalism and Tim's own wish for excellence.'

'Friendliness of staff and quality of care.'

'Competent, friendly and relaxed.'

'Very well looked after with necessary treatments and general dental health care.'

'Good dental services.'

'Convenient in terms of location, combined with excellent standard of care and flexibility in terms of emergency appointments etc. Complete trust.'

'The team always has time to listen, even if they are busy. I am made to feel comfortable and confident about treatment, which is always discussed fully. Superb dentist.'

'They know me and my family, remembering our case histories, therefore I trust their advice.'

What one thing could you improve about this practice?

 'More parking'

reply: We offer parking on a first come first served basis and can only accomodate three cars at once. There is ample parking on the streets near the practice and over the road, so hope the patients can find somewhere to park.'

'Cheaper fees.'

reply: We are a fully private practice and use only the best materials and labs for our patients. We spend extra time on procedures and ensure the product we deliver is the best we can at the time. The price reflects the cost of materials and time spent along with Tim's 20+ years of experience. We try to stay competitive with other practices. We are totally transparent with our fees and never up-sell.'

'Play more classical music.'

reply: Not really to our taste but patients are welcome to bring in their own music machines to listen to whatever they like.'

'Late night and evening surgeries.'

reply: We are a local practice with only one dentist and a small team. It is not possible to open extra hours without putting a strain on us and effect the quality of service we offer. We used to offer this service for the patients that asked for it but found that most of our "failed to attends" seemed to be at those time.We are, however, looking into increasing surgery hours to include a late evening, later finish on a Friday and possibly a Saturday clinic. Watch this space.'
