PRACTICE PAYMENT POLICY 2016

It is our practice policy to give patients full information about the cost of their dental work before any treatment is undertaken.

The first appointment will be an extensive examination (unless the patient is in pain, in which case any necessary treatment will be carried out) and the fee for this will be £80.00. This includes all X-rays and a written treatment plan.

You may pay for your dental care by cheque, cash, or credit/debit card. Once dentally fit, patients may pay for future treatment on a pay-as-you-go basis or join Denplan Care, one of the private dental care schemes. Please ask Tim Earl or Rachael Corke for further information.

We try to make payment as straightforward as possible. Our normal policy is that patients are asked to pay a proportion towards the final cost each visit OR patients are asked to pay a deposit prior to the commencement of treatment and the balance on completion. Patients are asked to settle any outstanding balance on the day of completion of treatment.

In the case of work involving a technician we ask for a deposit of 50% of the total cost and the settlement in full before the fit. This does not effect your consumer rights if you are unhappy with the work.

You will always be shown the lab work at a try-in stage for approval prior to fitting. Once approved and fitted you are liable for the full fees.
