Thank you for visiting the Lodge Dental Practice website
We are sorry but the practice is temporarily closed.
The Chief Dental Office have instructed that all dental practices in England must stop routine, non-urgent dental care, and defer until advised otherwise.
We are thus operating a remote dental care service during normal working hours, providing triage for our patients with urgent dental needs.
We can only treat with advice, analgesia and antimicrobial means at this present time.
If your call is a genuine emergency – Please leave a message and one of our team will be in contact to discuss your needs within 24hrs.
Outside of normal surgery times please call Tim Earl on 07973 634209. Please note this will be for urgent advice only and not for making appointments.
Our staff members are complying with the lock down, so no staff will be at the practice during this time.
If we cannot manage your condition, we will refer you to the appropriate part of the local urgent dental care system.
Their details are as follows:
Hailsham 01323 449170
Lewes 01273 486444
or call you can call 111.
This service is currently being expanded, but only for very acute emergencies.
We are here to support you as best we can within the confines of our current guidelines and are frustrated there is not more that we can do.
As always, during the down time, we have been very busy behind the scenes. We have sourced and fitted air purifying systems in all patient and staff areas giving the practice safer HEPA filtered air throughout. We have also commissioned specialised Medical Grade Air Suction Units which will be fitted in each surgery. They will look to remove the aerosol created by the use of fast handpieces during treatments and make our working environment even safer. We are excited to show you these improvements at your next visit and thank you again for your patience whilst our doors have been closed.
We are very lucky to have such a supportive and caring patient base. Help us to keep you and our team safe – as we support our NHS colleagues on the Frontline. When we return we will triage patients with outstanding acute and emergency work first, & will also retain social distancing. We will return to normal business as soon as possible for the safety of all.
Best wishes and stay safe.
